    Custom Pause

    It would be nice if MMF2 had a property in the app somewhat like this:
    Pause type: Standard/Custom
    Standard would be the same "Application paused" dialog from long time ago and Custom a normal text (not a popup window), like an Active, but customizable in terms of Text, Font, Size, Border...

    An example would be like:

    ---GAME PAUSED---
    Current objective:
    Disarm 2 bombs

    Press B1 to continue, or B2 to quit.

    (With a little border, and such, this would be for some action game)

    What do you think?

    I think that it would to put one option (a checkbox in the properties in each objects) which would make it possible to apply or not, the pause.

    You can have this behaviour with the use of the Sub-Application object - the trouble with the idea for a separate "pause window" would be that it may work out unnecessarily restrictive as to what you could put in it.

    GSoft, you can already do that without subapp by displaying your custom messagebox before the pause and hide it after.

    And with what sphax said, you can also have all your events in a group which is deactivated when the game is paused. Also, have a condition that pauses/unpauses animations.
