quote: "An error occured while loading frame #1."

I'm trying to open up my game, and this message box popped up:

"An error occured while loading frame #1.
Do you want to continue loading this application anyway?

If you answer yes, this frame will be removed from the application."

What is up with this? I only had one frame in this game so far, and ALL OF MY WORK WAS INSIDE OF IT! Is there ANY way I can salvage my code? Please tell me there is! Is there any way I can send it to an Admin or something and you guys can take a look at it?

I'm uploading the file into the File Archive.

Send a PM to Yves about it and see what he suggests.

And make sure to state which build of MMF2 you were using.

Yes, if possible upload your application somewhere and give me the link. Hopefully it's not too big, because I've a slow connection until August 15th.

Did you use the build 244 or 245 to build your application? Because I think we have fixed a similar issue in one of the first builds of MMF2 (I think it was fixed in the build 243).

Thanks for the file (I answer your e-mail in this thread because for some reason your mail server blocks my e-mails, it thinks it's spam...).

I see 2 problems... one in the objects (it's very odd, I don't know at all how it could happen but I can fix it easily) and another one in the events. I can load your application but it seems the second problem prevents me from saving it. I'll try to see what happens and I'll let you know.

Do you remember what you did just before saving?

Game almost entirely recovered, hopefully. I've sent you a PM.

Awesome! Thank you so much! After replacing the objects it works perfectly!

Oh, and right before I saved, I remember that I couldn't click on any of my objects, or select them in any way. I decided to exit and reload it, but it had been a while since I had saved, so I saved when I quit... so from now on, if something screwy happens, I'll save as a new file.

    Thanks again!

And you should (MUST!) enable the Autobackup feature in the preference box! Choose a setting of at least 5 copies!!!
