Desktop flashes on load

Hello,

I built an application but when the application is run all the icons on the desktop flash several times while the application loads.

Is this because of all the objects loading in the application? Is there a way to set it so that it the program start is smoother? I have tested this on 2 computers and the same on both.

I don't have that problem.
What build of MMF2 are your using and which Windows version do you have?

I am using build 245 and windows xp pro sp2.

I have the same "problem". I think it's the same thing for all of us. I think it's when an MMF2 application is loading, it refresh the desktop for some reasons...

I just poped in, but i als i noticed this with build #245. I wouldnt care more or less, but i beleive it was not there in #244.

Me too. I'm using the newest build on Win XP SP2.
But now it's in one of my applications only, if a sub-application is opening who includes the 3d mesh object.

It's been like that for all the builds. I've never had a problem with it because all my apps are fullscreen, and I only noticed because I have icons on my second monitor.

Thanks I wanted to smooth the load a bit because the program is an attendance system for a school and there might be some older computers using the program.

It seems to load smoother on computers with higher specs.

I've noticed this as well in every build of MMF2, on WinXP SP2. It also happens for many of my friends that test my applications.
