    Trouble with backdrop objects

    Hello,
I'm new to these forums and after looking around for a while couldn't find this problem before so here goes. I'm working on a platform game, but as the screen begins to scroll to follow the characters movement, a backdrop object on a different layer, that was previously missing, reappears and the character disappears.

I've tried increasing the number of objects in the properties of the frame but it didn't help. When changing the object that disappeared to an active object, another object begins to disappear.

    Pictures addressing the problem:
The character is present but a peice of the cloud is missing

The cloud peice returns but the character is missing

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sometimes this happens when the frame is too big. that is the only thing I can think of

A few technical specs would help:
    - version and build of MMF, Windows you're using
    - frame size, window size
    - colour resolution
    - frame rate
    - machine independent speed?
    - display mode
    - VSync?
    - how many objects on your frame (Are all those little squares separate objects?)

Just a suggestion, try to increase the maximum number of objects in the frame properties.

    Re: Trouble with backdrop objects

I just upgraded and on the start up screen says that I'm using version 2.0 build r245. The Frame size is 1280 by 480 and it running in full screen mode. By color resolution do you mean on the monitor, or in fusion? I'm not sure what VSync is and most of the little squares are separate abjects. The sky and the ground behind the first layer are quick backdrops.
