Nifflas, do you have a small app that does this that you can send to Clickteam?

Sorry! I only have Knytt Stories, which is rather huge. It's hard to set up an example, because I seldom use the laptop I get the problem on, since it's not my own computer. If I get the chance to use that computer more, I'll give it a try.

If I don't remember wrong though, you only really have to set up an event in an empty application that goes like "Upon pressing S" (or any other button), add 1 to the value of some counter. If the bug triggers, the counter will increase constantly when you hold the button.

Perhaps KingToast should try that, since he has a machine that the problem sometimes happens on.

When I get the chance to use that laptop, I might be able to find out it's specs (as well as running software) and post them here. What if KingToast can post his specs and running software too (automatically started software that runs in the background)? With a comparison, it might be easier to find out what causes it.

maybe the computers on which that happens have some additional software that does something with intercepting key messages... I myself never had this problem in normal circumstances, but when I have Autohotkeys program loaded into memory, all strange things happen with pressing keys... (none that relate to MMF, but maybe some other program is in question)... laptops usually have strange software regarding keys because of the touchpad, scrolling (on touchpad) and such... but I guess it's not what makes problem here.

Yeah, that's why I want KingToast's specs so I can compare them to the machine where I know that it can happen. Perhaps I can find a similarity.

Yay for detailed info and example file! I was wrong about that it only happens on some PC's though.
