Texing help needed

I followed all the steps in the instant messageing tutorial on this site and it didn't work. Can someone post one that has worked? If you made one not following the tutorial, I might want to see that one too, as long as it is over the internet.

You did use a valid moo server right. i remember when i used a tutorial like that the server it suggested to use didn't work. Oh and what about it doesnt work just the messaging? are you messaging between two different computers on different networks or two on the same network?

Ok, I was being stupid. I tried it again and found out it takes about 5 seconds, and I didn't wait that long. Thanks for your help anyway!
