    question about many objects in one time:

    we all know, that even the best 3d graphic engins, have big problem to deal with many objects that move and react at the same time on the screen, even very good graphic card will have massive frame rate down when this happends. and my question is:

    i made little level and every 2 secs , there are two enemies that came in to the screen and bounce against the ages of the screen and also shoot every sec in the player direction and they are in the player area till the player shoot them down (and i deleted them after the shooting and deleted the bullets and the explotions). so if i shoot all the enmies , i am getting the same amount of objects (10-20) no more. but if i am a bad shooter (lol) so there is situation that i have something like 300-400 objects at the same time on the screen and this is the point where the game become slow as hell..none playable. i do have fine pc with better graphic card 8800gts 320mb, and 2 gb ram, i don't think its question of hardware.
    i also played with the display options, but..its the same more or less.
    maybe i am using too slow animations(with too many frames?) for the explotions?
    but i don't think that this is the case cause i can change the number of objects mutch more then 300-400 objects.

    ok popcorn.

    i hope it will come soon.

    in the mean time, i can limit the game by checking the erea for objects and if there are alot of them, the program will stop or the player will loose one life.

    my goal is to build a huge waves of enemies, but i will have to wait fot the hardware acceleration to do so i guess.
