    lives

    im having a problem evertime the player hits an enimy hes supposed to have subtracted 1 life but instead they all wipe out in a second. and ideas how i could prevent this? like mabey have him bounce back or flicker a bit?

    here's a thought:

    add a condition called "Only one action when event loops" and another condition called "When Flag 1 is off".

    Then, when he hits his enemy, turn Flag 1 on.

    Then, have a timer start and at the end of the timer, turn his Flag 1 back off.

    hmmm it worked except. how do i get him to bounce back. away from the enemy. im using the platform movement object

    Use the Pinball Movement to throw him backwards, then once he collides with the platform, restore his movement to a non-pinball movement.

    i did the pinball thing but he just falls throught the whole level after i do that

    ok it seems to be working but now i have antoher problem if u jmp on the enmy at cerstain way the player goesi n side him. its wierd and the players lives just vanish in seconds. thx alot by the way. but does anyone have a solution for this other problem?
