    MMF2 won't start

It starts to start up, then I get this error message, and it closes down.

    EDIT: I'm running Windows XP

That error is a new one on me. Gonna have to do some troubleshooting...

Have you tried with build 246? Has it previously worked fine? Have you tried re-installing? What does it say its doing exactly (e.g. loading a specific extension)? Are you running XP directly or through a virtualization suite / virtual machine? Where is the TEMP folder located (this is defined in the environmental variables portion of System Properties) and does the directory exist?

On XP the temp directory is usually in :

    C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Local Settings\Temp

Check if this drive is full and/or if there is any problem in this directory. Maybe you need to clean it up? You can safely delete all the files in this folder (if no programs are open).

you might have too many files and folders in it, i cant remember the number but FAT has a small limit, FAT32 being a bit higher and NTFS being much higher, but once the limit is reached, it wont allow you to make any more files or folders

It's working now. I think it was just one of those weird quirks that can be easily fixed by restarting the computer (but I just shut it down, and came back the next day).
