[Request] Non-Window List object

This is a pretty simple to make extension for Clickteam that I believe many would use.
That extension should be exactly the List Object, but it will not display a window and will not have the window control actions, conditions and expressions.
Also the ability to make it global will help.

But you cant sort an array

I could see good use for this, for example, in a game where you need to manage multiple units where the order can be changed without losing the correct unit the list was originally attached to.

Another good feature only in lists is the ability to insert
or remove any specific entry an any time. In an array, you have to manually 'fill in the gap' or move the other entries out of the way to make room.


Of course this could also be done by a normal list with 'visible at start' unchecked...

It basically saves you a window control. Why having a window control that's always hidden? Just take extra RAM.

Yes, but with all the features of the list object such as Find and Sort. I can't find any other object that does it that easily. It also got the helpful load files, filelist, font list and drive list functions.

No, the extension would have to be redone entirely, as actually it uses all the features of the Windows List control, we would have to redo them all.
