Resize display to fill window size goes too slow?

I remember turning this on all the time in MMF 1.5, since it was extremely useful when it came to people playing games who wanted to set up how they wanted the game to be displayed for them, if they wanted it windowed or if they wanted it taking up the whole screen.
The beauty of it was that nothing messed up when you had it on. The frame rate still stayed normal, the game still ran just fine, it was lovely.
I was so happy to finally get MMF2 recently, and yet here's the one problem that has really gotten me pretty steamed up. Whenever I enable this wonderful feature I used to use on every game I made in MMF2, it won't work correctly. It stretches, yes, but the game runs painfully slow, and sounds and such go out of sync right away like this.
Is there some way to fix this, or is this just a problem that hasn't been gotten around to yet with the updates?

If you have the colors up to 6 million, it causes it to go way slow if you have it full screen. Put the colors down as far as possible without making everything look different at all.

I uh, just did that now. Nothing has changed whatsoever.

1 Solution, don't use it. Use change resolution mode instead.

HWA might be able to fix this if you can wait it out

Could you send me an example of CCA file that doesn't run well in MMF2 with this option please? And first, make sure you use the latest build of MMF2, as some optimisations have been done in recent builds.
