quick question

im just having trouble with loading the extensions, do i just put it in the extension folder because it either says i need it or says it cant load.

I believe you just put them in the extensions folder. Just the mfx or mvx file.

All I've installed so far are the ones that come in packs, but I think you just drop them in there and restart MMF. (I apologize in advance if I am wrong)

Edit: (from the manual)
• The edit time version of the objects are stored in the “Extensions” folder located near the
main Multimedia Fusion executable.
• The runtime version of the objects is stored in the “Data \ Runtime” folder. You will notice
that the size of the objects in this folder is smaller than in the Extensions folder: they only
contain the runtime code. It is important not to mix the objects of the two folders.

See if you can identify the two different types of files in the extension you want to use, and put them in the two folders described above. hope this helps

im trying to install the platform swing object i got all the nessicerry requirments like the overlay redux but now its telling me it cant load it.

Do you have the latest version of MMF?

What version are you running? under help and about inside MMF.

Taco, I wanted to advise you that, the way MMF2 works, extensions are directly related to the current builds/patches.

Any problems you are having might be easily resolved with a simple download and install of the latest build. After that, you can contact us if there are still problems.
