    MMF2 and Data Aware Extensions

Any idea if a set of data aware extensions will be added to allow form development and database integration to take place in an easier manner. ODBC works but for creating forms data aware controls would be a big help.

Re: MMF2 and Data Aware Extensions

No, I'm afraid that MMF is becoming viewed as just a game generator. I see it as a Multimedia program development system. As such, I am using it to develop a picture processing program for one of my clients. Later I plan to add video clips.

So accessing forms and database tables of information is critical. In my current program I read in two or three thousand pictures and store processing information about them. They are changed, sorted, duplicated and stored in folders for further processing by the client. This greatly improved job processing in his company cutting a lot of manual work they currently do.

So, I like games, but I like MMF2 for business apps and utility apps I write.

Having data aware controls would be a big help for multimedia applications.
