New active Extension Development Wiki??

Hi CT and extension developers!
Since the Extension Dev Wiki is gone, i was wondering if you have any plan for a new? I think many C++ developers (including me) would need a Extension Wiki with learning resources, articles and examples of extensions.

I think once the RSDK is done we should be good to go.
It will have a lot of docs and examples and you can always ask questions in the extension forum.

Jeff: Actually I told you about that on the chat, you probably didn't see it then

I changed domain and servers yes and haven't come around putting the ClickWiki for ext developers up again. Also, since nobody wanted to sign up for editing it has been canceled. The old SDK that was around the time of the ClickWiki's creation wasn't exactly up to date, but now the official SDK comes with excellent documentation. The RSDK will also make thing even easier so I don't think there is a use for the ClickWiki any longer. What do you think?

No, you may missunderstood me, i can program a working and stable extension in the Official SDK and/or rSDK.
But i was thinking more off things like: how do i create a graphical control in the frame (e.g button) etc.
I dont not find any good way to learn a such thing.

It covers everything about the SDK itself. Drawing buttons or other controls are also explained how to make work (intercepting window messages) but how you use them after that is completely up to you and is not related one bit to the extension SDK documentation.
Have a look at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx instead.

If you want to learn more about different drawing techniques using the cSurfaces that comes with the SDK, then why not have a look at the open source extensions available?

Well, i find that very hard, as i don't really know where to look etc, its not easy to see the difference between the Template/non graphical ext and a graphical extension.


Well, anyway, if you say that the SDK documention is good, i'll have a look... again.
