game completly erased

has this ever happend to anyone u werent alowd to hit the run frame button because it was frozen or somthing and it stays that way for a while eveything else u can click except for the run frame. then 15 mins later it unfreezes and says it encountered a problem. oh and during all this u cant save. the button is clickable but u cant save. then the whole thing closes and ur application gets erased. it happend to me today

I'm... surprised that you hadn't saved your game prior to that happening. I have had a slightly similar problem with the Expression Editor vanishing, but I haven't experienced this.

no i had. like ive been working on it for months. but the it was just so random. id saved many times before.

Don't just save one version of your game. Increment your saves.

Folder : Tacos Game
Tacos_game_0.mfa
Tacos_game_1.mfa
Tacos_game_2.mfa
Tacos_game_3.mfa
Then always keep at least 3 copies of your game file...

it happens to me sometimes when it freezes like you discribed, so i would save your game regually from now on! :grin:

Every 1 min i save my game. i dont know why its just a habbit to me hitting that button . I was working o a great game when my friend came over. he has mmf2 to and we were making a wonderful game.it was a while ago so i dont remember much. I saved it but there was an error.i told you i save it every 1 min so it wasnt really a problem. i restarted mmf2 and when i loaded the game it was a blank app! as if i clicked the "NEw" button. weird...

Dynamite422: If you're only overwriting the same file each time you save, you're not safe anyway. Without keeping backups files, this will sooner or later happen with a lot of applications - not just MMF2.

o i saved 2 but the other 1 wasnt updated. anyway they werent really important. im just saying so you guys can do something about this although this is the first time that has happened to me. i've experienced alot of other glitches you know. i dont have the latest build because my internet is like dial up speed so i cant download it
