    Quick question about HWA

Let's say I have an animated sprite that is 40x25.. it is not power of 2 (8, 16, 32, 64, 128 etc).. the animation will have to be remade to be ok with HWA?
How about background images and external files 800x600.. 200x100 and so on?

    thanks

MMF2 will sort that out, but it would be a little more optimised if you used a power of 2 size (MMF wouldn't have to add a transparent area to make it one). Background images should be fine too, but you might want to chop them up into smaller blocks if you want the graphics card to display them more quickly

Also Yves mentioned he'll be looking into optimisations where possible and practical, so for lots of small background images, they may get placed onto one ^2 texture and packed together as tight as possible, then displayed by using the texture co-ords. Should something like this be implemented, it may extend to frames from animation too. ... I don't know though, wait and see what the solution is when the beta is out
