I wouldn't mind having that option though. In fact, I'm perfectly happy if just the ability to block "Save Frame Position" (and all other save-related features that does not rely on extensions) in sub-apps.

All I would have to do is simply to ensure that I don't have any extensions in my application with file writing capabilities. Yeah, it does introduce some limitations, but at the moment my idea doesn't work at all because of the security risk.

Ok this one is easy. You will need to sign (hash) the file with the originators details so the file can be traced back to that user. after it's compiled, this means you have to be able compile the subapp file on your machine to see what it's doing.

It's the only way you can be sure.

I can't go through and validate them all, I have a large user base, and too many levels are created for me to have the time to validate something. I haven't even had time to play 10% of the currently existing Knytt Stories levels.
