    Re: Event movement

I think he means that you select the movement normally and then it generates events in the event editor and then the complete movement is in the event editor where you can edit it.

It's impossible. MMF2 is not designed to let the SDK to add events in edit-time or create objects in runtime.

    Re: Event movement

It could be a nice feature to have a way to transform a "custom" movement into a set of events/actions. But tutorials are designed for that...

    Re: Event movement

Maybe he means the Step-Through Editor (which did let the program add events for you)?

    Re: Event movement

Depends, if there were a binary clipboard object, someone would be able to analyse the structure used in MMF's copy/paste of events and objects.

A third party program could then be created that can record objects and events in its own file format to be transported. Then you have two buttons in this third party app:

    "Copy Objects" and
    "Copy Events"

Copy Objects would load any objects (such as detectors) into the clipboard ready to be pasted into the frame editor.

Copy Events would do the same for events. At a point that's appropriate in the user's events, he could simply right-click and paste the events.

So you'd be able to share custom movements in a new file format, loading them into MMF by a simple copy and paste.

Probably he want to save time .... or he's not good enough to create one himself.

But as Sphax says, it is not possible, as the SDK and MMF2 is not programmed/designed that way... maybe for MMF3?
