MMF 1.5 to MMF 2 and the screen capture object

I have an application that uses the screen capture object and have moved it from MMF 1.5 to MMF 2. The application does not work the same way that it did. The main problem is that in MMF 1.5 the entire screen was captured while in MMF 2 it is not. It does start at 0,0 as set, but only captures around 2/3 of the screen. I have chosen the option to capture screen. Any help appreciated.

This object hasn't been modified in MMF2, I've just checked the source code. Are you sure the same application saved with MMF 1.5 works fine?

Are you using several monitors and if so is the application on a secondary monitor?

I've tried it many many times and I always get the same result and I'm not using two monitors. I'll check it again when I get home from work.

OK - I've had time to look it over some more. What I have been doing in the application is capture the screen and place it in a picture object. In the MMF 1.5 picture object there is a picture resize checkbox which seems to display the captured screen into the picture object. In MMF 2, there is a checkbox that says resize picture to the size of the object, which may not be be doing the same thing?

Re: MMF 1.5 to MMF 2 and the screen capture object

I finally figured out at least some of what is going on. Things in MMF 2 don't always work the same way as in MMF 1.5. In 1.5 I had been setting the picture object's filename to "" and it would not show up, but in MMF 2 it did show up. So I added another file to use as a background before and inbetween the screen captures. Somehow the size of the new bmp file had a height that was greater than I thought I has set it and it extended below the bottom of the frame. Due to several other objects being placed there, I did not see it. The screen capture was resizing to the size of this bmp file, but part of the capture was below the frame and could not be seen.

Next is to figure out why the draw object is leaving remains in MMF 2 that were erased in the app using MMF 1.5. Changing to the new program has not been as easy as I had hoped.

    Thanks for the help.
