    Fullscreen problem

I have a play area of 800x600 which should switch to fullscreen. In the event editor there is an option to do this but then the hz are horrible.

    My computer has 1024x768, 100hz.
When I switch it to 800x600, 120hz are supported.

But when MF2 switches to fullscreen and 800x600 it uses 60hz or something. How can I change that?

I want my play area to be fullscreen, independent of the user's screen solution.

Try to switch the graphic mode to DirectX in the properties of the application. Does it solve the problem?

Just wanted to make a note that you be aware of users with wide screens, the 1024x768 will get distorted as full screen.

    Re: Fullscreen problem

That depends on how the monitor and graphics card handle it. My 22" 16:10 TFT scales the image keeping the aspect ratio correct (a 4:3 resolution gets black bars on the sides), and my nVidia 8800GTS knows about the monitor's aspect and gives the option to scale the image on the graphics card (keeping aspect, not, or just padding black around the image) and output a widescreen image in the monitor's native resolution.

It's only a combination of "lower quality" / "cheap" widescreen TFTs and graphics cards that suffer from scaling issues, but that means 99% of pre-build pcs...
