    AI choosing from multiple targets

    Ok I've made a design that requires AI to select from multiple objects and check an "allegiance" value against their own and then target and attack them.

    For example, in bioshock there's many factions of enemies and they're dynamic and changeable with powers and hacking.

    So all possible targets in this (including themselves and the player and other npcs) need to be part of the same qualifier and it somehow needs to have all these numerous guys be able to somehow choose a correct target. I can't even get "pick (qualifier) at random" to work since the attacker being part of the same qualifier messes MMF2 up somehow.

    Is there a way to do this?
