New MMF Program for Activex Conversion

I have seen the SDK and began trying to read all the detail of converting an activex to a MMF2 extension. I just have to believe that clickteam could create a utility that allows a user to take an activex and be able to create an extension without having to use C++. Am I really off base on this? It seems to me that MMF2 allows you to pull in an activex and display methods etc... so going a bit further and allowing a user to generate an extension from the activex seems possible.

I believe this would help to generate more extensions and control upgrades to new versions of MMF.

There's an activex extension that allows you to use any activex without making an extension.

A tool that made the extension for you couldn't do a better job.

I understand but given that you would be forced to say why have extensions in the first place. Why not just use activex only.

Some activex components are too complex or might be missing a function you would like to provide as part of the extension.

So you could for example create an extension action and perhaps combine several activex commands to create a simpler interface for the MMF user.

That is done today with SDK. I just believe that having a program could help create more extensions faster and help with upgrading.

Oh well just brainstorming.
