    Overlay Redux Object

    Hi folks,

is there anybody who knows how I can resize an image drawn by the overlay redux object.

What I'm doing is a background with the overlay redux object. I have two overlays, one is the source the other one draws. I'm having the second overlay draw a water surface which is scrolled 3D-like (from front to back it becomes slower).

Thanks to Gustav for showing me how to do that!

Now what I would also like to do is to change the heights of the surface like I'm jumping in the water (best example is the Hydrocity level of Sonic 3). Everytime I change the size of the overlay it changes the borders of the overlay but the image stays the same and its getting all messed up.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

    Re: Overlay Redux Object

There is a Resize Overlay command under Position and Size. Resizes with no method then, nearest neighbour.

yeah I found that one. But it just resizes the overlay itself but not the image it displays. Am I doing some thing wrong?

Huh? For me it resizes the whole picture. What version of Overlay do you have? And what settings? With stretching ticked it doesn't resize anymore for example.

    Re: Overlay Redux Object

Haven't tried to expand a picture but when I shrink it it doesn't work. Could that be because I'm using two overlays (one as source and the other one displays line by line from the source).

Maybe I should upload my file so you can see but I'm at work right now.

Edit: I can't tell you the version right now. All I'm doing is resizing the overlay that displays the image from my source overlay. No stretching enabled.
