Putting an active object BEHIND the background?

    Me again.

    Is it possible?

Or I guess I have to use the Layers object? By then I wonder if I can in the stage editor move the existing objects that I've nicely put on the level up to another layer without having to re-do the whole level?

    Thank you!

Yes, in the frame editor, press ctrl+K to open the layer window. From here you can move items to the desired layers.

Lets say you have three layers:

Not sure where your active lives, lets say it currently lives in "Layer B"

    Layer A
Layer B Background Object and Active object
    Layer C

    Add a layer, Layer "D"

Then drag that layer between Layer B and C

Then drag the Active object to layer D

    Layer A
    Layer B Background Object
    Layer D Active Object
    Layer C

    That should work, no?
