Feature Request : "Seach for event/expression"

I thought it would be useful to have a search feature in the Event Editor. So it would be similar to only displaying the events related to a certain object which is already a feature, but it you would be able to search for events that are related to certain alterable values, or events that change the X position of the object etc.

This would be useful, especially for people with engine frames with large amounts of events. When I change something I'm sometimes not sure whether it needs to be changed somewhere else in the code.
Of course, keeping your code clean helps, but this feature would be useful.

Or if this feature already exists and im missing it, please tell me

Sometimes I would find it really useful to search for all the events that use a certain alterable value for a certain object, so I an check that the events don't conflict in any way. i.e. I havent used the same value for two different things.

You can use the Event Editor. Click on the object icon along the top and only the related events to that object will be displayed, click again to display all events.

Agree, even something that would set the Event List Editor to display only the selected object in the Event Editor.

This feature was present in MMF 1.5... I don't recall it working, though =/.

Yes, it would be very very useful. MMF2 wants a search and REPLACE feature. I'm sure Yves and François know it but I suppose that it is very difficult to implement because the event sheet is not a text file. Anyway, it would be a very important feature.
