    convert mmf2 exe to mac?

okay, well I hope this is the right place
I have been working on a game for quite some time and am close to being able to release a good demo. The only problem is a portion of people use macs (which can't run exes without boot camp). I was wondering if there was a way to convert a mmf2 exe to a mac format? (i'm guessing .dmg)

    thank's a bunch!

There isn't a Mac runtime, but Macs should be supported through the upcoming Java runtime. Supposedly Linux can run apps MMF2 through WINE reasonably well, but I haven't heard of any free Mac equivalents.

There are ports of Wine to Mac OS X afaik, but I never used a Mac so I can't tell you the name or how to install and use it.

Tried that before, it isn't nearly good enough to run an MMF2 application.

well you can run exes without bootcamp: first take one windows 98 bootdisk image and put it to floppy, then insert floppy and use FDisk to remove the crap unsecure and buggy to hell rip-off OS and format with an NTFS, then restart with windows XP without SPs cd in drive and install. There, exes supported with ease, and your operating system is much better as well, 2 for the price of 1 !

LOL, erm there is another alternative. Not much money either.

The answer is.. Until CT hire a mac developer you won't have real MAC support. Until then you will have to poke and hope with the win/pc emu software.

Something that will be interesting is a Vitalise plugin that is compatible on MAC.

I think CT had the right idea when thinking about porting to java as it's cross platform and will run on anything that can run a java machine.

Didn't hear anything about the Blueray meeting.

Re: convert mmf2 exe to mac?

I found an application for OSX - Jar Bundler.
Jar Bundler allows you to package a Java application that may be comprised of various JAR files, class files, and libraries into a package that appears to users as a single file.
So... It will be possible with the Java runtime to create an application for Mac OSX with MMF2.
(Start your project on a PC, finish it on a Mac ).
