[Request] Pick Color as in MMF 1.5

In MMF 1.5 when you select a color in the picture editor the corresponding color gets selected in the palette. In MMF 2 it doesn't. Makes it hard now to choose a color one above or below. Because you have no way to say which color it is.

Can we have the old way back please?

The palette has a limited amount of colors and that way you can't pick the exact color, however, you could do like in MMF1.5 and pick the closest color, but that wouldn't give you the exact lighter/darker color that you'd want, but only a look-a-like.
If you want a darker or lighter color, copy the image, delete it, paste a black/white (depending if you want dark or light) and then paste the old image above this, and make it have semi-transparence.

Well, valid points. Still, this has worked in MMF 1.5 before. Even with 16 million colors

I simply cannot see the reason why it shouln't be handled like this in MMF 2. Does it hurt when a color in the palette is selected when picking a color of the picture? Nope. Is it useful for me? Yes. That's why i request it

I'd also like to have this feature implended, but as said, it might not be the most useful, and I'd rather have Hardware Acceleration implended before this little tweak.

MMF2 selects the color in the palette only if it's the exact same color. Try it, that works.

I don't see why it should select the nearest color in the palette and make the user thinks this is the color used in the image. I think this is rather a bug in MMF 1.5.
