    A couple BlowFish questions

    1. Can it encrypt/decrypt ANY file?
If it can then when it decrypts the file how can I store all its data into a folder? I am very new to the BlowFish object and I have already decrypted the files i need and I have modified them but now I need to encrypt it again. The file contains alot of files in it (Like a RAR file) so it wil be cool if someone can tell me how to encrypt all of the decrypted files (There are more than 100 decrypted files) and store the new modified encrypted one into a folder. Thanks

I'll make you an example when i get home.

basicly copy a file encript/decript the copy and then move it acordingly.

actually, i doubt you'd need an example. it's quite simple.

read thou the object, pretty strait forward.

    Re: A couple BlowFish questions

To encrypt using the BlowFish object you first need to add an encryption key. This can be anything of your fancy, (think of it as a password to your file), but make it complex:

    hh*390&feguGF&70FG*$W~f"SF@ - an example

fishcake - a not so good example

    ---

When you're ready to encrypt a file, simply use the Encrypt a File event. You'll need to specify your encryption key again, but then you'll be asked to point out the file to encrypt; I recommend doing this via an expression but it's up to you.

Decrypting works in the same way, but with the Decrypt a File option.

This is only touching the icing on the cake; the extension is really powerful and decent.

ok I like Larasoft's reply but where does the encrypted file go? Does it replace it? And I also need to know if it decrypt / encrypt ANY files

from what I am aware (read the documentation) it decrypts that file on your h/d and overwrites the original

    Re: A couple BlowFish questions

uh the blowfish object isn't a ZIP object, thats what the zip extension is for. And if you can't see what is in it, no wonder, you overwrote it!
