    Sticking animation

    I have a problem with my character and an animation sticking. I made my character without and arm and put the arm as another animation that follows the player around. The first arm I have is a arm holding nothing and it works great and i say that because i can hit the shift a bunch of times really fast to make the animation of him punching and it never sticks but for some reason when i made another version and if i press shift real fast it animation sticks with the guys arm in the air.
    I even cloned the good arm that doesn't stick and it worked fine and so i added a weapon in the hand and the animation started sticking again. Any ideas what i should do or should I limit how many times a player can hit the fire button. If i should do that can i get some help with what would be the best way doing it that way. Sorry for such a long post but i hope someone can help me out thanks so much. Happy New Years Everybody!!!

    happy new year's.


    replace

    +on shift pressed
    -change animation

    to

    +shift held down
    +animation 'bla bla' not playing
    -change animation

    I'm afraid animation is a very picky thing is mmf,
    this should work, if not add more limit's.

    I tried what you were saying but it didn't work but I did solve my problem. It is being caused because the animation is to slow I guess. The animation that was sticking was at a slower rate and thats what was making it stick because one i sped up the animation rate it stopped sticking. To me that is kind of random. Anyway thanks tho

    I've had problems with animation sticking if I re-started the animation the exact moment it ended... Try adding:
    * Animation 'whatever' has finished playing
    - Restore animation sequence
