pretty nice!
Score 26600@ first try...
a litte bit hard to click on the wrong items at my resolution (1280x960) though...

89600 for me and yeah, that's nice. That makes me hopeful of the future of MMF. I can see it now...hell, this is also good since I'll be giving away PC's using Linux to kids in my city of Fort Collins and Loveland and if you can make games like that and export them to Java, kids can have some new games to play, rather than the lacking library of games for Linux as it is.
This reeks of an opportunity to get the Linux world of gamers in on this. They all complain about how there aren't many games out for Linux and if they can get a copy of the game maker and have it run in WINE, then export it to Java to native play, then this should broaden the amount of users that actually use the software!
Yes, 2008 will be a good year for Clickteam.

It worked great on my PC but when I tried it on my sister´s iMac it was another story. I tested it on the iMac just to try it out. The music was great but it was VERY slow - it worked but it was VERY VERY slow.

It isn't supposed to work on the Mac until Java 6 for the Mac is released.
I am aware that the Java runtime is in beta, but I am afraid I am going to have to be honest and say that for me this game ran very very slow on windows XP home.
I played it in IE (haven't tried it on firefox) and it seemed quite slow and jerky on my machine unfortunately. I couldn't even stand to play it because when I clicked the items my clicks were not recognized fast enough...
Anyway I suppose the graphics are pretty neat though.
It is rather jerky on my PIV too but I notice java applications are WAY faster than those played on a browser.
I compiled ZED and it runned very smoothly as a standalone java application but badly as an applet in both IE an Firefox (jerky and bad refresh synchro).
Is the same java engine used for both applets and applications ?
There must be some optimization done for applets but I don't know if it must come from Clickteam or from Sun|Microsoft.

yep agreed, I clicked things but they didn't go away, the game ran ok though, just the app input seemed to lag badlyOriginally Posted by vortex2
