Tooltip Object - Help Please

Can anyone help with this, I am trying to display a manual tooltip object in the centre of a window object.

Problem.. Tooltip always displays at the current mouse location.

That's the way the tooltip object works. It appears under the mouse. So nothing to change here.

For custom tooltip why not use an active system box for example? You can change the colours, text and size to whatever you want. And display it whereever you want. The shadow could be faked by an semitransparent active that is underneath

I thought that in Manual Mode the Tooltip could be set at specified coordinates.

Help for Tooltip object says.....
"Manual / Display tooltip
In manual mode, displays the tooltip at the desired coordinates. If the tooltip is already displayed, its position is changed."

Heh, never worked for me. And as you found out now, it doesn't for you. It's a not working feature
