Typing issue in Open Dialog (Vista Glitch)

So for a while now, I kept meaning to post this but I kept forgetting, but now I have.

There seems to be an issue with MMF2 on Windows Vista, that keeps you from using all the characters in this open dialog. The only characters it's able to use are: "1234567890iojkzxcvn" not even spacebar works.

I've also been through a reformat and reinstall of Vista (new hard drive) and I still have the issue, so it must be an issue with MMF2.

The open dialog I'm talking about is the one in the animation editor.


I don't really know if I can ask for solutions to fix this, because technically it's a glitch in MMF2, but I just thought I'd throw it out there, hopefully to be fixed.

Sorry, just wondering, what's that corrupted bit of graphic on the top centre of the dialogue box in the title bar area. Is that how your Open Dialogue Box is being displayed on the screen or is it something you added to the image after capturing the screenshot?

I zoomed in on the default diamond. What you're seeing is the transparency and blur of Vista's Aero, giving a glassy effect.


If you're using Windows Vista Basic, your title bars wont be transparent though. It's only Home Premium or above.

Paul: Thats vista's aero theme where the borders are semi transparent to give the glass effect. That is in fact the image behind the dialog box which appears to be an active

And I can confirm this bug aswell. Ive forgot to post if for a few days... Glad I could rely on someone else :P

Oh right... LOL!!! I'm still running XP but I should have realised this was the glass interface in Vista. Thanks.
