I am not saying about the case. I know that there was a prank about MMF3D, but I've heard about MMF3D long after it. There was a topic after one of the conventions, and there was a discussion about MMF3 or MMF3D.Originally Posted by BrandonC

Yes we showed a potential prototype off at the convention in 2005? This was the ideas that CT had about how it might look. It was also talked about in last years convention.

Wasn't Jamagic kinda MMF3D? I don't really know much about this MMF3D announcement, so I'm probably talking rubbish
I don't know almost anything about Jamagic, but I know that it's not MMF3D xD
Jamagic was a 3d product, but it wasnt MMF3d, Jamagic was scripting rather than drag and drop programming.
Jason
And you are not continuing it, yeah? Cause I remember that it's a kind of old product?

The perfect program for me would be Multimedia Fusion 2 mixed with FPS Creator by The Game Creators.
FPSC is only for first person shooter games...but I'm not talking about the genre but the editor and objects. 3D looks so much better. But MF 2 is user friendly and the programming with its possibilities is wonderful.
If MF could keep its features and develop a 3D environment with objects and multiplayer features it would be OUTSTANDING.
I love Multimedia Fusion and the only two things I miss are 3D and multiplayer. And yes, I know 3 D is a looong way to go.
Personally, I wouldn't want a blend between MMF2 and FPS Creator, specifically because MMF2 is designed to be incredibly flexible, which is why it's capable of making both games and applications. Throwing in a 3D addition, but making it like FPS, in my opinion, sort of hinders the idea of being able to do just about anything you want, without coding.
I think that MMF2's event editor system would work great for 3D, we just have to consider that 3D is more then just adding in a third axis of depth to the game. There is so much more to it, not just with creating the engine, but creating the games themselves.
HWA is a huge step forward, but I still think it's one of many steps to adjust the community to a new 3D world. Yves and Francois can, and if in the future, wants to, they will add 3D.![]()
If an MMF3 would be developed I think it would be great to try and incoorperate some of the hierarchical structure of some of the languages such as java and C++ whilst keeping the concept of drag and drop.
I agree, the addition of a script editor of some sort would be very good, but I don't know why everyone is talking about an MMF3. When MMF1 had improvements made to it, beyond a simple build... it was considered MMF 1.5, why can't we have an MMF 2.5? It's not like any of these features for MMF3 are truly revolutionary.
