No matter how many security measures you take, you can never be sure that people won't make illegal copies of an application. Crackers always find a way!

It is possible to implement security features in MMF, but it isn't as simple as just using an extension. If you wanted to try and prevent people from making illegal copies of your game, youd probably need to give each app you distribute a unique key and have an internet server that the app must connect to. That way the server could compare if two apps with the same key are being used on two different machines at the same time.

But as you might have guessed, doing that isn't exactly the easiest thing to accomplish, and it would be pretty easy to crack anyway. Generally most apps made with MMF arent popular enough for it to be worth bothering with extensive security features.

Look at cubase, it has a dongle and from what I remember, it took crackers 3600 combined hours to crack, and thats an ultra secure dongle, so yes, nothing is safe in this age, even with information going missing
