Hiding a layer doesn't hide all content

I don't know if i should call this a bug or a missing feature. But is at least worth a report.

Hiding a layer doesn not hide all its content, unfortunately. Stuff like buttons, edit boxes, colour selectors, etc. stays visible. All the stuff that is at runtime by system set above every layer.

It would be neat when hiding a layer would also hide this kind of content. Because that's the whole meaning of hiding a layer: hiding its content. Fully, not partially

buttons and edit box's(so on) are themes and run above the application, this is not a material problem as you can just hide then accordingly however it would be a helpful addition.

interesting; This function used to work on an older version...
I loaded an old game i made using 'hide layer' to hide lists and edit boxes and it no longer does.

Sure i can hide them manually. I do because i have no other choice. And so could i do with all the rest of the objects

Point is the mentioned objects are part of the layer, they move with the layer, but they don't go invisible like all the other objects of the layer.

This is something I would want too. I'd like to create panels of buttons, text boxes, etc that the player can switch between and being able to hide / unhide everything on a layer would be ideal.
