How to grab regions from an image on disk?

    Hi, guys.

I don't know if that is possible but can you grab small rects from a given image? I mean, how to make a jigsaw game, for instance where you choose a 800x600 image and then chop it into small squared pieces in runtime?

Is that possible with any extension?

would be possible with overlay, you would need lots of them and need to remove the parts you dont need though

Or; use active picture and the 'offset' and 'size' controls to select sections.

Re: How to grab regions from an image on disk?

If I do that, will I have to load the full image (800x600) for every tile (20x20)? I would have to load the same image 120 times. How does MMF2 behave in this case?

Thanks for the help so far.
