Pardon my newbie-ness ... MMF2 to build to Java?

Having read through this thread I have to say that I'm excited to learn (very excited, in fact) that MMF2 will be, with the coming release, able to save games made in MMF2 to a platform neutral format like Java.

This opens up a world of additional potential customers (OSX and Linux users) and I think I'd have to jump on board and use MMF2 (in Parallels on my Intel iMac) as my 2D game development tool of choice if this is the case.

    This is the case, no?

Merci, Sphax. MMF2 may just have gained a new customer.

And may I add it works quite well. The first beta was a little shaky, but now, on the second beta, my games without extra extensions run fine.

Most excellent. This is extremely good news and makes a buying decision between MMF2, other apps such as TGB, etc much easier. And the Platform Movement Object in the Bonus Pack 1 is worthwhile too. Thanks for the help.

Brandon, is it possible to post a link to a small example (even something as simple as a single block moving up/down/left/right) that you built to Java so I can look at it and what environments it runs in?

I'll do one better than that, how about a small Pipe game running in Java format. Left and right click blocks to rotate them and try to make a chain as long as possible, starting in the bottom right corner. Press enter to activate the pipes. Here is the link:
