    Can GCC(mingw) Compile the SDK( for 246)?

    I try to compiled sdk by mingw(4.2.2 for windows),but mmf2(247) can not load my extensions(mfx file),anyone have a try before?
    My IDE is code:blocks, mingw 4.2.2, windows 2000 os.

    No, it can't. MMF2 extensions require linking with MMFS2.lib, which is a VC6 library file, so you need VC6 or newer to use it.

    VC2005 express is freely available from Micosoft

    you can use anything like notepad so long as you compile it with VC++
