Can't import images

Actually, I did learn something interresting! If you try and use the load image into frame action for an active IT WONT WORK if there is not an instance of that active at the time. I was trying to load in all the animation frames for actives at start of frame, but sense none had been created yet at funtime it didnt work. Once I made some off screen in the frame editor and re-ran the program it worked fine. I hope someone else finds this useful.

Well, HolyMonkey, that's a different issue. I've done some more investigation into my problem, and discovered that I actually can import the kings, queens, jacks, and jokers. So now the question is why the rest of the cards can't be imported.

Edit: According to IrfanView, the BMPs of these cards use 4-bit color. Maybe MMF doesn't like 4-bit color images?

Yes, MMF2 doesn't like 4-bit BMP files, you have to convert them to 256 or 16 million colors.
