ActiveX:get result from method -actually possible?

Hello,

the VideoCapX-ActiveX has the method "DetectMotion" to detect motion in picture.
This is a single action without parameters.
The result can not be retrieved by counters, there is no custom expression for DetectMotion.
The only way to get the result maybe the "Action/Condition/Expr output parameter"
but this needs a name of the variable, which is not given.

The example says:

If VideoCapX1.DetectMotion>30 then
do something

So the question is: is it possible for the mmf activex object to get the results of such functions?

it be great if there was some feed back on this. It appears this is an issues with many activeX controlls. There is a function but no way to call that function other than...

But nothing I try seems to work. Any ideas on this or direction on where I might find some examples, docs, etc...

I confirm there are problems with the expressions that retrieve the result of functions. I've tried to debug this feature but it's so badly programmed that I was not able to fix it in a reasonnable amount of time. I'll try again when I can find some free time but we'll have to redo this object from scratch in a future version.
