(Need Help) Edit a file/string

I want to make save keys option.. so i made that it saves in a ini file... it makes Up = Up Key and that...now i installed a expancion that called Control X .. the problema its that there the thing that need to be its Up only and now Up KEy.. so i need somehow delete the Key thing.. somoene have idea how to make it?

Something like: Save to ini(Left("Up Key", 2))

i have like this.. in ini object i have

key( "Player 1", 0) ... you know.. 0=up.. that in a ini file that the string i t Up =

and if the key its Up Arrow.. so it writes Up =Up Key.. and i need only Up= Up for the load.. lol
