how to to accelerate object?

how can i accelerate an object, that i gave it the 8 direction movement and upon pressing "right key" i wants the object to accelerate from lets say 50 to 80 but not too fast?

also i asked this in the past and no one answerd to this:
is it passable to move objects faster then 100? or to shoot objects faster then 100?

a. Just set the object's speed in the event editor.

Custom movement means you create the objects movments yourself instead of using Clickteam's original buggy and limited movements. Look in the tutorials section an look for the custom platform movement example - this is an example of a custom movement.
