File in list

i want to have an open file box pop up when i click a button, using the file extension, and then have in one list its location on the computer, and in another list the file's name. I've done this before a long time ago using the file extension and the file-folder object but i can't remember how i did it. Des anyone know how to do it?

Use File Selector>Open Load/Save Selector on "File.svg"

Ive done this but then from there how do i put the name of the file you choose into a list?

There is an expression in the file object that retrieves the last loaded pathname: FileSelReturn$( "File" ). If you just need the file name, you can use the string parser 2 object with a delimeter of "/" to get the last piece of the file name.
