Moving around a maze

Hi everyone, this is my first post, yay!!

I've been searching around for a while and cant seem to find what i'm looking for. Could anyone tell me if there is some way of making a baddie move around an area on a particular path, then, if he sees the player, chases after he instead? The baddie would have to move around obstacles and that kind of thing.

yes, but it would be difficult to implement correctly.

since this is your first post (excuse me if I'm wrong) but i image you are also fairly new to mmf; this would at least require you to understand and use the path finding object a reasonable understanding of the selection protocol in mmf and some competency in fastloops.

If you think you can understand it ill make you an example...?

Hehe, your right, I dont have a great deal of experience. All i'm wanting to do is make something like pacman in a way but with diffrent characters. I've drawn them (me on my water ski!! and a fish monster that chases me!!) but I can't seem to figure out how to make the rest work.
Do you think there might be some simple way of doing it?
