Neat way to know when to save your projects.

If you look at your "Workspace toolbar" At the top next to what you've named your project you will see your

    Title such as
    RoboWarrior
Then the drop down lists showing your frames.

This is the version that doesn't need to be saved, you will know this by a little asterisk next to your title. If you need to save it will look like this.

    RoboWarrior *
That means that something has changed in your project and you need to save your project to update it.

A nice feature for MMF would be to "Revert" the project to the latest saved file, quicker than clicking on "Open...".

Man, thats an odd coincidence, that "RoboWarrior" was the name of my first project ever done in Kilk & Play (Baby MMF)

It's odd that the star appears there often even if nothing has really changed, for example when testing running the application. Or is there a difference between 2 files when the other one has been run once more than the other?

It would be lovely if you could revert your .mfa to earlier stages, like Final Cut Studio. I know FCS is basically just integers (since it only records where your video files are), opposed to MMF, but it would still be nice.

What I do is every time I make a significant change to a project, I save it into a project folder, with the date in the name of the *.mfa file. That way, I can check something any step along the way and I have something to fall back on if something goes wrong.

Alonso, get FileHamster. You can set it up to store copies of your file (e.g. one every hour or day that it changed). If you screw up your MMF2 file or otherwise want to go back you just open FileHamster and double click one of the old copies to roll back (and forth). You can even add comments to the versions so you know exactly how far you've been.

    It's free.
