    No Faster Than Non-HWA Version

    Greetings MMF2 fans...

I received my full version of the fantastically wonderful MMF2 and promptly installed the HWA version!

Excitement was building and I couldn't resist trying out my new game via hardware excel.

Much to my dismay, the results were the same. After reaching 30 moving active objects the game became very sluggish.

There's really not that much to the game. One keyboard controlled object using vector movement.

10 to 40 objects that rotate and move using bounce movement (and they wrap)

I'm doing collision detection the rotating objects.

I have an 800x600 backdrop that remains static.

Any ideas why there is bog down?

Ok, nevermind... The problem was that I hadn't selected the Display mode as Direct3D. Once I made that change it was LIGHTNING FAST!

Did you change it to Direct3D in the application properties?

If you did, you might be using extension objects not yet supported.

    EDIT: Dang.
