    angle to mouse using MATH

    I am quite sure there is a way to adjust the angle of an object so that it always points at the mouse.

    I know there's math involved, but I skipped school that day.

    The missile sits in the lower left corner on it's launcher. I want it to aim at the cursor which is mouse controlled.

    Having the X,Y coordinates of the mouse it shouldn't be too difficult to adjust the angle (and direction) of our little missile, right?

    I've been looking at the example provided by the advanced direction object, but I can't make heads or tails of it. Can someone provide a formula for setting angle and direction or a step by step tutorial for the advanced direction object based on this need?

    Seriously, I'm a professional software developer for 15+ years now, and I feel like an idiot lately.

    Hey. No math required, that's allready done for us. Simply use the Clickteam Movement Controller to retrieve the angle between two points, and set the angle to that value.

    360 bullet in MMF2 in clickteam controller is lagging when some objects are shooting at once :P
