[Feature request] Breakpoints and then some...

Did not find any references to this feature, but I bet it has been talked about before - maybe in the old forum.

Breakpoints and especially an ability to go forward step-by-step or line-by-line

It propably means big structural changes but wouldn't it be great to just right click with your mouse in any line in the Event (+List) Editor and assign a breakpoint. Then follow the events line by line and see what's happening?

As easy as everything is in MMF2, I'd still like to know even better what's happening while I track down my own errors...

Yeah, that'd be awesome!

A feature I'd also love is a small cross next to each event line, so you can tick it to disable an event (rather than using 'Never'). So when ticked, an event would disable and appear grayed out.

Would be very good for debugging - quicker than selecting 'never' in the menu, and still preserving event order (no need to move the event to a 'recycle bin' group).

I agree that breakpoints would be awesome. Not quite as good as what you want, but when your application is running you can press 'pause' then 'step'. But it does it one event cycle at a time instead of one event at a time.
