Spaceship Movement

I believe that spaceship movement lacks a very important feature and that is ability to programatically set power of thruster. Currently, only the speed can be set programatically, not the thruster speed.

Is there anything that can be done about it?

Can't the Clickteam Movement Controller do that? Haven't actually looked yet though so I could be wrong

I am talking about CMC. It has integrated Spaceship movement, but no run-time thruster setting...

Also, why is it impossible to programatically set the Maximum Speed?

Not even manually setting max speed does the work because then the smooth skidding movement stop working. Very strange.
