Can I attach a file inside my computer to my post?

I want to attach an example file at my post.

I read FAQ:

If you have a browser that is Mozilla 4+ compatible then yes, you can. When you preview your post you will have the opportunity to attach a file to your post.

I see:
create a link to a webpage
create a link to an email
enter an image

and not a link to a file inside my computer for uploading :-/

Go to 'file archive' section and create a new topic.
Now you see under 'post options' the file manager.
